Just wondering if any ODAR attorneys have received good news.  Or, if anyone gets a copy of the list, please post.

A number of Ass'n members/former members were given ALJ offers.  Former treasurer, Denise Pasvantis is headed to Knoxville, TN.

One of our associate members had this to say:

The last ALJ class had 42 new Judges.  They included 18 former SAAs and 2 former Regional Attorneys, plus some folks from OGC, former practitioners, and other knowledgeable people.  It was THE BEST ALJ class ever to pass through the system, in the humble opinion of this old-time ALJ instructor since 1990, and it had a tough row to hoe to beat the class before it, with 12 former HODs, numerous former GSs, a few former SAAs, a couple of former FedROs, practitioners, and OCG attorneys.

After seeing and hearing about these two stellar ALJ classes, the COSS is mighty high on hiring attorneys with Agency-specific knowledge, and has decided to hire 60 new ALJs for August, rather than the 25 originally planned, in addition to opening the register again and hiring a lot of new ALJs next year.  Way to go, ODAR Attorneys!!!  You are doing your Agency proud, and paving the way for others.

As for us, the Judges who have been waiting to retire but were afraid there was nobody coming to replace us, you have given us hope.  In these last two classes, my co-instructors and I could see all of stars this Agency needs - HOCALJs, new ALJ instructors, and knowledgeable line Judges - to carry it into the 21st century.  There may even be a few among you with the nerves and stomachs of steel needed for top management positions.  HALLELUJAH!!!
