Does anyone know just how long new atty advisors have before they are held to the 100% production standard?  I have heard its 4 months from date of hire and 9 months from date of hire......

It really depends on the local office.  If I was the manager, I wouldn't worry about numbers at all for the first few months and would look for progress through the next couple years.  The real issue for me is whether the new writer is really learning to draft defensible decision and not just generating garbage.

Depends on the location. I have been here for almost a year and my judge has yet to mention what she actually expects of me in terms of production. Perhaps its because I surpass what the general production standards are (8 hours for an unfavorable decision and 4 hours for a favorable decision).
